  • Mon, 10:14: Holy shit! This makes me so sad -- I don't talk about The Cranberries that much anymore, but that band was special to me: they were the first concert I ever went to, with my brother, in 1996.https://t.co/5g3sJKzs2C

  • Mon, 12:28: In honor of the untimely death of Dolores O’Riordan, my original private journal account of my first-ever concert, The Cranberries, which is interesting for multiple reasons:

    1. It basically coincided with my coming out, in 1996, at the age of 20. Note: I deluded myself by self-identifying as bisexual for the first three years, not truly coming to terms with my thorough gayness until 1999. When I went to this concert, I had just dyed my blonde hair black and started wearing makeup.

    2. My brother (ChrisTöphër) and I had quite the adventure that night, because after his car broke down on the way there and we got a ride from people at a rest stop, we found ourselves with no ride home from The Gorge to Spokane. https://t.co/KljMKpCcQE

  • Mon, 05:41: I'm finally watching "Fargo" the series, and while it's otherwise excellent, I can't understand why no one complained about how they used Calgary (pop. 1.2 million) as a stand-in for Duluth (pop. 82,000), which makes NO SENSE. Duluth does not have skyscrapers!
