1) Attempt to unlock a Capitol Hill bike four times. App won't do it. 2) Move on to the next-nearest bike, 1/4 mile away. Bike beeps. App starts timing the ride. Bike does not actually unlock. 3) FAQ says wait at least 60 seconds. Still not unlocked after 2 minutes. App is timing the "ride," which charges by the half hour. 4) I try to end the ride on the app. App can't do it because, duh, the bike is already locked! 5) After leaving a bitching voice mail with customer service, I walk another half mile and get on a fucking LimeBike (whose app works fine). 6) 40 minutes later, the Spin Cycle app is still timing me for my "ride."
I'm sure they'll fix it, but Jesus, what a pain in the ass.
Me: Someone please count the number of vanilla beans in the package so I can calculate per-bean cost.
