Thu, 20:47: Niagara Falls, Ontario. The falls themselves? Genuinely jaw-dropping, probably the best part of this entire trip. But the town? Honestly, kind of depressing. As in, a depressed looking town everywhere but the uber-touristy center clearly trying — and failing — to be a mini Las Vegas, with tacky attractions galore, and still it’s clearly the primary source of the local economy. I wonder what percentage of the town’s permanent residents work in literal service to it. https://t.co/oYJsTUwF2w
