And the day after this article was published, as the hospital was looking at transferring excess patients to Seattle hospitals, Kootenai County RESCINDED their mask mandate. 🤦🏼 So here we are, poised to bail these idiots out of the consequences of denying science.
At least Coeur d’Alene (where Kootenai Health is located) just yesterday reinstated the mask mandate for their city, so they deserve credit for showing far more sensible leadership than any of Idaho’s higher tiers of government. Coeur d’Alene City Council votes to require masks in public
