Fri, 8:51: I keep seeing these boneheaded arguments online against vaccination, that "you can still spread it if you're vaccinated." Um. NOT IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT. These are case rates per 100,000 people: overall King County vs. not fully vaccinated vs. fully vaccinated. Even in the face of Omicron, even with, yes, a clear spike in breakthrough cases, unvaccinated people are still getting infected at 3.2 times the rate of the vaccinated. So when it comes to spreading the disease, which group is by far more likely to be the vectors of infection?
This isn't even getting into the vastly wider disparity when it comes to hospitalizations (13x more likely) and death (27x more likely) among the unvaccinated, which are really by far the more important considerations. These numbers are absolutely clear, and it's nuts how many people, two years in, *still* either blithely or willfully ignore them. https://t.co/IzaRWOvBO9
