I was going to watch a streaming movie on SIFF.net for review last night, then changed my mind when I realized it would be better to do tonight when Shobhit works later, until 10:15. So, until he got home last night around 8:00, I just watched an episode of
UNHhhh with Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova on YouTube, while eating my dinner, and after that I updated several playlists on Apple Music. I'm through E now!
Next up: F. Starting with Fleetwood Mac. Much like Madonna, this band has a shit ton of different playlists I'll need to update. At least ten of them, of not one or two more. Luckily the key difference between Fleetwood Mac and Madonna is that Fleetwood Mac has no particularly recent music to have randomly gotten pulled from playlists, so these are actually largely still intact. It looks like I won't have to spend quite as much time fixing these ones.
After Shobhit did get home, we finished out season two of
Space Force on Netflix. We watched the final three episodes of the seven that were recently released. The show is . . . okay. Kind of mediocre. The one particularly good episode was one written by an evidently Chinese writer, about a dinner between Steve Carrell's main character and his astronaut counterparts from China. That one was the middle episode, I think. I wish the rest of them had been as good. Oh well.
Next up, for binging anyway, when not watching stuff being released week by week, it sounds like we'll be checking out
Euphoria on HBO Max.

I've already booked up my weekend coming up, a social engagement all three days. I just exchanged texts with Alexia this morning, whose planned trip to Texas this weekend got canceled. So, I'm going to go over to her place again on Friday, and watch the next film in the
Mission: Impossible franchise, this one
Rogue Nation (movie #5). On Saturday, I will take myself to see a movie in the afternoon, then have dinner and see a show with Danielle, who I don't get to see near often enough. But, we planned this months ago because the tickets were cheap and she's ready to be able to go out again. I can't say I really blame her.
Then, a pretty big day of movie-related things on Sunday: I have the Braeburn Condos theater reserved for watching the director's cut of
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring with Tracy. I had originally scheduled it for February 27 because I thought Ivan would have that as his scheduled weekend off, but then his scheduler at work switched them around. But then, I found out last weekend, he's taking the day off this Sunday anyway, so he'll join us after all. And by sheer chance, Shobhit
also has the day off, so he will likely join us as well. It's been ages since I've had even as many as four people together to watch a movie down there. Hmm, maybe I should invite Alexia too! I only just thought of that. I have no idea if she's into those movies.
The SAG Awards are then set to air Sunday evening. Of course I'm quite looking forward to those as well.
