Very little of note has happened since I last updated. I actually did some shopping last night, first taking Shobhit's car to the Costco down on 4th Avenue to fill it up with gas. The tank was about half full, and even Costco, which is always cheaper than anywhere else, is now up to $4.499 per gallon. I was on Skype with Shobhit for a few minutes later and when I told him that he said, "Wow." I know many regular gas stations are now near or past $5 a gallon. I was really bracing myself for a massive payment for that gas, but it came to around $24 and I was just like,
That's fine.
I won't likely need the car for much more than visiting Gabriel in Federal Way this weekend and then picking Shobhit up at the airport when he returns on Saturday April 2. I think the full tank of gas in there now should cover all that pretty well probably.
I then drove from there to the Central District PCC. I used the GPS on my phone both to Costco and from there to PCC, and it took me different routes both ways than Shobhit has ever taken—he is always using the GPS but then taking his own route he thinks is still better. It was kind of fun taking these new routes, actually. Except that on the way to PCC, when I got off the freeway and exited onto 4th Avenue South, holy shit that red light took forever.
Anyway I then spent over $100 on three tote bags full of groceries, largely because I stocked up on items that are on sale this month: seven 6pks of Zevia Soda, four half-gallons of Blue Diamond Almond Breeze (almond milk). I had to do some creative Frozen Foods Tetris in the freezer at home but I got it done.

I got on Skype with Shobhit for a few minutes, after I put the groceries away. He had his shirt off because of a heat wave there—mid- to upper-nineties for their highs for like the next ten days. He said it's about 10°C higher than normal for this time of year. That means it's about 18-20°F hotter than normal there for this time of year. Yikes.
I then got off Skype so I could watch the next episode of
We Need to Talk About Cosby. I had watched the previous one earlier, while eating dinner and before going shopping. I don't know why I thought it was five episodes; it was actually four. So, now I'm done with it, and there's not much else on Showtime I have any pressing need to see.
I finished up one more playlist on Apple Music. I made a "Dolly Party Duets" playlist, because I have three tracks in my regular music library on which she's a guest vocalist, and I really like those songs. I found 11 other songs, preferably pop songs but I allowed for a couple bluegrass and a couple country ballads, with her as a guest vocalist from Apple Music. Then another three I found on YouTube that was not on Apple Music, but I downloaded the audio file and managed to add those too. So the full playlist is 17 tracks, but they are on average short songs so the run time is 57 minutes. I quite like it.
