Mon, 11:10: I learned from the book I’m reading that the 79 AD eruption of Mount Vesuvius preserved a lot more detail of life and culture in Pompeii than just impressions of bodies in ash deposits. For instance, they found graffiti on the walls of brothels, including “I came here and fucked, then went home.”
I find this very amusing.
