Total days in the winter with social interaction: 47 (51.1%, a -8.9 percentage point change from winter)
. . . It is at it always seems to be: the highest numbers of people with whom I have socialized, every other season/quarter, and always in either the fall or the spring: 59 people in fall 2022; down to 42 in winter 2023; back up to 54 in spring 2023. This is a pretty well established pattern, and predictable given the time of year in which they fall, with more parties yielding multiple numbers of people socialized with during the holiday season in the fall; and then the surge of people I hang out with during my Birth Week in the spring. As such, all of that along with the pattern, established since last August, of biweekly Action Movie Nights here at the Braeburn Condos theater, the top 10 is about as standard as it could get: Shobhit at the top with 27 points; Laney, Alexia, Karen and Danielle rounding out the top 5—although Danielle did get more points this quarter than she typically has in a while. (Danielle would have had only 3 points if not for staying the night with us last Saturday, and because her visit last weekend spanned two calendar dates, that bit of a loophole gave her an additional two points.) Positions 6-8 are thus taken by people from Action Movie Night who have all been present at the 5 such nights I went to, even though I never spend a huge amount of time with direct interaction with any of them individually. The top 10 are then rounded out by Tracy (with 3 points) and my cousin Jennifer (with 2). Tracy has tended to be much higher on the list in the past, but ever since she's had another job after leaving PCC, we don't hang out as frequently. I'm glad that, at the very least, we stay in touch and still do hang out regularly. Ben and Derek are ranked below them even though they have 4 points each, because even though I saw them each 4 times at Action Movie Night, I spent far more quality time with Tracy and with Jennifer than I did either of them.
