Thu, 14:35: I've known for ages that Wyoming, as the least-populated state in the U.S., has fewer residents than the City of Seattle. Today I discovered Seattle proper also has more residents than the state of Vermont, and roughly the same population as the entire state of Alaska. (Metropolitan Seattle, at a population of 4 million, has far more people than all three of those states combined; and also more people than any of the 22 least-populated states.)
