All the asterisked names indicate groups that helped bolster the numbers this summer: biweekly meetings of Action Movie Night; monthly(ish) meetings of Book Club; and two new and unusual ones: marching for Shobhit's Seattle City Council District 3 contingent in the Seattle Pride Parade; and the many people I hung out with during the three-day Co+nvergence conference in Saint Paul. This pushed the number of ranked names up from 54 in the spring to 61 for the summer, which is usually a quarter when the numbers go down—summer 2022 had, again, 54; but summer 2021 had 36. If nothing else, I think it's pretty safe to say we're well beyond the pandemic now, so far as socializing goes. Shobhit's 18 points this time out are down significantly from 27 in the spring, but he's still in the #1 spot by a comfortable margin. Laney holds steady at #2 with 11, compared to 9 in the spring; Alexia holds steady at #3 with 9, compared with 7 in the spring. Noah's at an unprecedented #4 because of multiple work social events and Co+nvergence. Danielle and I had made a pact to hang out more often and managed five times in the spring—for the summer, it's back to only one time. Crap! We need to turn that back around. The one point for Gabriel isn't much of a surprise, as there are many reasons for it (distance, hesitance to hang out with people too often, etc). We talked recently about getting together to watch a movie again soon though, so I hope to make that happen in the fall. Okay so let's get to it, the who did what with whom where and when . . .
