Sun, 16:54: Whoa. When did this happen? Flowers Restaurant, which one had a famous vegetarian lunch buffet, has closed! I had no idea, and only noticed this walking between the U District Light Rail station and the U District Street Fair on the Ave.
Time to Google!
Apparently they had their liquor license revoked in the spring of last year, after multiple violations of selling alcohol to minors. (bit.ly/3K4IDe1)
Presumably they’ve been closed since shortly after that. The most recent Yelp review is from July.
They had been open since 1992. I ate there several times over the past 20 years or so and will miss it. https://t.co/5iEbqfDgAq
