Guru is finally back home and set to rest … next to Shanti, and also Peng who came before them.
Strange that Shanti had come in a sealed box but Guru’s has a clasp and can be opened. His box is also engraved.
I thought I might get emotional again picking up his remains. Honestly, I’ve had kind of a hard time being at home with no pets around, especially when Shobhit is out and I’m here alone, in a home that hasn’t been this empty in 16 years. But, It was just really nice being able to pet the house cat that was lounging in the middle of the floor at the vet clinic.
