Sat, 11:55: Went to a dedication of permanent artwork on the Seattle Waterfront this morning. That’s Chief Seattle’s mom, holding Chief Seattle as a baby, which I love. Carving artist Randi Purser (Suquamish Tribe) was there to speak about the piece, along with other artists involved in the project. There is a companion carving of Chief Seattle’s father on Bainbridge Island, so I’ll have to go check that out sometime too. https://t.co/AWSXlc8EAK
