Tue, 5:52: Started my day by spilling cereal and almond milk all over my oven and kitchen floor. It's all uphill from here! Looking forward to a great day. 😀
Tue, 10:37: Apparently today is "#TeacherAppreciationDay," which brings to mind Mr. Vennum, who taught history at Rogers High School in Spokane. He stressed the difficulty of his AP History class was to prepare us for difficulty in college, which -- guess what! -- was a breeze by comparison. That said, he was always my favorite teacher, and gave me a unique sort of encouragement. He never told me I was smart or talented, only that "you're the hardest working student in my class." I actually appreciate pragmatism in offering compliments.
Tue, 12:12: I don't know anything about the Met Gala but judging by all the photos on Twitter it's an annual event where people stand on a staircase looking like morons?
Tue, 19:09: Watching this week’s “Westworld” and it occurs to me the mechanical animals of the Indian safari park could potentially be just as self-aware as the humanoid “hosts” of the Westworld park, a possibility I *really* hope the rest of this season explores.
