Sun, 9:29: Some of the creative ways the high-end houses on Capitol Hill handed out candy last night: lots of “candy chutes” affixed to stairway railings (making me think hardware stores must have sold out of pipes). Several apologetic but often ornate “See You Next Year” displays. Candy set out in individual bags. Candy just set out on tables or in bowls. Sometimes with disinfecting wipes or hand sanitizer provided. In one dark shot it’s hard to see the woman up on the balcony, sending a bowl of candy hanging from a rope. https://t.co/pxkexrsADT
