Wed, 12:59: Some before & after pictures comparing my previous visit to the space with today’s opening day at our Central District store, which thanks to COVID had by far the least fanfare of any store opening since I’ve worked here. Maybe for the best, given the relative perception of PCC being a part of local gentrification. If it means anything at all, the clientele there—today at least—appeared at least slightly more diverse than most visitors to the CHAZ/CHOP up here on Capitol Hill. My only complaint: no Nature’s Path Flax Plus Cinnamon Flakes Cereal?! Come on PCC, get your shit together!
EDIT: Turns out that cereal is out of stock at the distributor until December. I guess it's just Strawberry Special K from Costco for the rest of the year! https://t.co/yfuo8GH15B
