Thu, 14:26: Last night I dreamt that I could not stop shitting so it was quite literally the shittiest dream I ever had. (Also it was awful. DO NOT RECOMMEND, one star.)
Thu, 16:14: Okay now it’s time for another story about my mom. Today I received flowers in the mail from my dear friend Barbara—who never met Mom, but to my amazement, had already told me they were coming, specifically including tiger lilies. Why? Because she remembered me telling her about this, like two decades ago and which I literally had not thought about AT ALL in many years.

You may recall my mentioning in an earlier post that Mom always loved Peter Pan, and that's why she named herself “Wendy” (even though she was always called Jeanni, based on her middle name). Well, for about a year in grade school she tried to get everyone to call her Tigerlily, inspired by the Native American character in the movie. Back in the mid-nineties when I was writing letters home to Mom from college, I used to address all the envelopes to “Tigerlily.” I had totally forgotten.

And, when I also received flowers from my *other* dear friend Karen on Monday (these are seen in the second and third photos), the fact that they also just happened to include tiger lilies was something I found to be a pretty awesome coincidence. ❤️ https://t.co/KAodiUjQh7
