I have lost all faith and trust in the @SeattlePD, and if they can not only do shit like this but get away with it—not to mention the countless police nationwide who walk free after literal murder—why the fuck wouldn't I want them defunded?
And don't come at me with bullshit arguments about "compliance" and "following orders." Let's just say for the sake of argument (even though I don't believe it) that the first shot was justified. Those next four shots are the very definition of excessive. And if you can't control yourself in high pressure situations, you shouldn't be a fucking cop to begin with. Instead, people like this get defended and protected by the departments that employ them. Fuck that.
