I guess we'll see

Not a lot to share today . . . I guess I could mention that I went to the bathhouse last night, but you're not going to want details about that. At least, the readers that I care about won't. I suppose the mystifying 5 readers I have in Austria might. That's the #2 country among my readers! I don't get it.

Of course, I also have had 85 visits to this blog from the U.S. in the past week, and I couldn't really account for that either. Whatever! I hope you enjoy reading!

I will say this: last night was a bust. It goes with the territory. It happens. Still, it sucked up all of my evening. I walked home at about 9:45.

Shobhit had worked a shift doing deliveries for Total Wine—a role he decided he was interested in after I ordered liquor for delivery in Saint Paul two weeks ago.

I managed to weigh in with a couple of pounds lost this morning, even though I had nearly two dounuts at work yesterday. All I had for dinner though, was a small amount of leftover PCC smoked mozzarella pasta, the last of it. I decided not to eat any more after that. It seems to have done the trick.

Gabby told me in our weekly 1:1 this morning that a good amount of wildfire smoke is expected to waft into the area on Sunday. Fantastic. That's when Laney and I are going to Alki Beach Pride. I'm glad to know ahead of time, at least; it will mitigate the disappointment. Also, I think Gabby exaggerated; she was afraid a concert she plans to attend that day might be canceled, but I can't see that happening. My air quality app says the air quality will be "moderate" that day, so it could be way worse. I guess we'll see.
